ADOC K-9 ARREST TWO ON CONTRABAND CHARGES AT VENTRESS

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, staff at Ventress Correctional Facility reported a trespasser and possible contraband activity to ADOC K-9. Agents immediately responded and conducted an investigative stop on a white Nissan Altima at the Barbour/Bullock County line. The passenger, Larenzo Lydell Frazier, and the driver, Gregory George Nevels, were taken into custody and transported to the Law Enforcement Services Division office at Ventress. The suspects were detained, interviewed, and ultimately arrested on the following charges:

Possession of a Controlled Substance
Possession of Marijuana 1st
Promoting Prison Contraband 1st

The suspects were transported to the Barbour County Jail without incident.

8 g Methamphetamine
106 g Marijuana
